Sept. 16There was a welfare check request in the 200 block of Harrell. Officer made contact and everything was OK.There was a horse out on Hwy. 6/West Blackjack headed toward town. Horse was located and estrayed to the county until the owner can pick it up, and show proof of ownership of the horse.

Sahawee Indian Dance Performers entertain crowds and share part of their culture with attendees at the annual Comanche Pow Wow events hosted by the Comanche Chamber of Commerce Saturday, Sept. 28-29. The event also showcased a car show, barbecue cookoff, entertainment and vendors galore.

Participants could hear a pin drop as the crowd gathered at The Station Wednesday, Sept. 25 and waited for members of the Citizens’ Institute on Rural Design (CIRD) to unveil renderings for the Dublin City Park including the old community building. They weren’t disappointed.
