Garden club learns about soil health

Thursday Club starts new study term

The Dublin Woman’s Thursday Club met Saturday, Sept. 28 for its inaugural 2024-2026 study cycle. The event with which the club initiated its new 2-year study cycle on The Ecoregions of Texas, was the President’s Luncheon, held at the Little Church on Grafton event center.

Buckles N' Bibles set Sunday

Double N Cowboy Church will host its 18th annual Buckles ‘N Bibles Youth Rodeo Sunday, Oct. 6 starting at 2 p.m.

Fall Festival set for Friday

The Dublin Elementary School and Intermediate School will host its annual Fall Festival Carnival from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4 at the old Memorial Stadium across from the elementary school. Bracelets and tickets will go on sale starting at 5 p.m.Everyone is invited to attend, organizers said.

The Stephenville Masonic Lodge will host a chili cook-off and blood drive Saturday, Oct. 19 at the lodge (244 S. Columbia).Entry fees for the cookoff are $20 with prizes awarded for first and second place.

Sept. 16There was a welfare check request in the 200 block of Harrell. Officer made contact and everything was OK.There was a horse out on Hwy. 6/West Blackjack headed toward town. Horse was located and estrayed to the county until the owner can pick it up, and show proof of ownership of the horse.
