Three Oaks, DHS celebrate National Assisted Living week

Residents and staff got a special visit from students from Dublin High School as they came to visit Three Oaks Assisted Living for National Assisted Living Week Sept. 8-14. Residents enjoyed a week of themed days.

Dublin Elementary is partnering up with Dublin Goodfellows and will be having a canned food drive starting December 2 and ending December 13. Students can bring canned goods for donation. The class with the most canned goods will win a pizza party.

Tour of Homes to showcase historic homes; tickets now on sale

(Editor’s note: This is the first in a two-part series on the Tour of Homes)The Dublin Garden Club’s annual Tour of Homes is set for Sunday, Dec. 8 and tickets are now on sale.The viewing of homes will be from 2-5 p.m. with refreshments served at The Little Church on Grafton from 2-5:30 p.m.

A standing ovation and applause broke out at the recent Stephenville city council meeting as a pair of rare lifesaving awards were presented.

One Act Play stages

Members of Dublin High School One Act Play were busy Friday at the old auditorium on Camden, decorating for a Christmas Spectacular Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 6 p.m.“I had an idea this summer to do it and told the kids,” said DHS director Stacy Smith. “They jumped on it.
