Court takes next step on joint dispatch

Erath County Commissioners made another move in the joint dispatch center project approving a master services and preliminary services agreement for McKinstry to begin renovation and expansion plans.

The original Double Inn served stagecoaches that passed through this area as they made their way from Fort Worth to Yuma, Arizona. Those who traveled by stagecoach knew the Double Inn well. The Woman’s Thursday Club gathered Thursday, Feb. 13, at the Patrick St Church of Christ annex for our third study session hosted by Pam Crabtree, who introduced us to the Post Oak Savannah Ecoregion in East Texas.
