Dublin steals the show

The Sound of Dublin scored all ‘1’s’ at the regional marching band contest in Mineral Wells, Saturday, Oct. 19 and will advance to area in Denton this Saturday. The band’s performance called ‘Heist Escape’ contains music from Beethoven’s 5th symphony, Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy and Gangsta’s Paradise by Coolio. Then travel to Denton to see them compete at 3:10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26 at C.H. Collins Athletic Complex (1500 Long Rd. in Denton). Tickets must be purchased in advance - no tickets will be sold at the venue.
