The Dublin Public Library has some really cool programs going on right now and citizens should definitely check them out.The library is launching its Cooking Chronicles with a fun and hands-on class for kids ages 5-7.

Letter to the editor, Wind corporations are setting their sights on Erath, Hamilton, and Comanche Counties one more time. Orsted, a Danish company is actively seeking landowners to lease land for wind turbines to be located in the above counties.
A hopper car loaded with 60 tons of cement left the tracks and plunged into the historic Dublin Santa Fe Train Station Dec. 3, 1972. When the car was pulled out of the wreckage, the Spanish tile roof collapsed. The station was located west of the Santa Fe tracks and south of Highway 6. Ermon E. Hatley, station agent in Dublin

I remember hearing this freight train passing through Dublin early morning in December of 1972. It sounded normal then the sound got louder and louder. It was followed by an eerie silence.

I noticed his Watch immediately. I usually notice watches immediately.But his was especially noticeable. It was a Rolex. I don’t own a Rolex, but one day I plan to. A nice one like his.That’s the thing about watches. They all used to be nice before the cheap ones flooded the market.
