It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffrey Trent Boies, 62. A beloved soul who peacefully departed from this earth on Oct. 4, 2023. Born Dec. 2, 1962, in Tulia, Texas.

CAPELL

Rev. Thomas Cahahill “Crockett” Capell was born Aug. 11, 1834 5 miles Southwest of Brownsville, Tennessee in Haywood County. His nickname was Crockett. He was the youngest of 5 children born to Louis Capell and Mary (Tyus) Capell. Both of his parents died around 1844 from Tuberculosis.

Darrell Martin

Darrell Frank Martin, born October 25, 1964, in Fort Worth, Texas passed away September 23, 2023. He spent two years in the Army. He liked to fish, hunt, and go motorcycle riding.

Carrolyn Hopkins

Carrolyn Ruth (Ruddick) Hopkins of Fort Worth, Texas returned home into the loving arms of her Savior on October 4, 2023, in Fort Worth, Texas. Carrolyn was born on September 9, 1943, in Fort Worth, Texas to her parents John Lloyd and Janice (Bundrant) Ruddick.

Curtis Scott Hudson was born Sunday March 13, 1960, in Abilene, Texas to Curtis Lee and Patsy Ruth (Abbott) Hudson. He was a 1978 graduate of Stephenville High School.

Lynda Kay Schlitz (nee Prater). She passed on to be with the Lord on Sept. 15, 2023. She was born Sept. 3, 1943 to Charles and Marie Prater in Corsicana, Texas. At the age of 3 months Lynda survived radiation treatments and the surgical removal of a Wilms tumor.

Jerry D. Cogburn

Jerry D. Cogburn was born July 8, 1951, in Dublin, Texas He passed away Sept. 9, 2023. He was the son of Gene and Jimmie Cogburn. He married the love of his life, Delia Kay Cogburn on Feb.16, 2002, in Cleburne, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mom and dad and his wife Delia.
