LITTLEFIELDMark Layne Littlefield, 57, of Dublin, died July 27, 2024, in Fort Worth after a fall. Three people have been given better lives by his donation of organs through Life Gift and he passed while the song, “The Cowboy Rides Away” by George Strait was playing in the operating room.

Glenda Sorrells

Glenda Jean Sorrells, 75, of Dublin, Texas, peacefully passed away at home on July 14, 2024.Glenda was born on October 4, 1948, to Dorothy Langston Wilwant in Knox City, Texas. She married Charles Wayne Sorrells on March 21st, 1967, and had three sons together.

He was born Oct. 22, 1949, in Stephenville, Texas to Robert Raymond (Bob) Mc-Clatchy and Pauline Brown McClatchy.Bobby went to Carlton High School, moved to Dublin and worked with his dad on a dairy.

He was raised in Lingleville, Texas, where he graduated from high school. Upon graduating, Michael went on to further his education.

HIETTLaverne (Ware) Hiett, 92, left this earth July 3, 2024 in Borger, Texas. She was born Jan. 7, 1932 in Littlefield, Texas, to Emett and Annie Ware.Laverne graduated from Wellington High School in 1950. She was a dedicated homemaker, bookkeeper and floral assistant.

Norman, a Dublin native, loved his home in the country and the community surrounding it. He was born February 23, 1937, in Dublin, Texas to his parents, Hazel (Williams) and Zillman Sharp.

OUTLAWPatricia Joy Outlaw, born to Dora (Malone) and Jesse L. Landes in Purves, Texas left this Earth to return home on June 26, 2024, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Patricia was born on March 7, 1937, and was blessed with meeting her light in life, Lawrence Lee Outlaw.
