How we find what we like has changed. Not so long ago, to determine whether we enjoyed a specific musical group or movie, we did our own homework.We didn’t go online to see what others thought of the newest music album by a popular artist or latest film by a favorite actor.

When Ramiro Vasquez drives down roads like I-820 or US 183, he has a different experience than most people. Vasquez, who has worked in highway construction for over a decade, has the satisfaction of knowing he helped build those roads.Vasquez graduated from Dublin High School in 2010, a year early.

We will be holding the Peanut Field Day Tour again this year. It has been a sure rough couple of years for crops in the county, but irrigated crops still look fair to good. Peanut acreage in the county is no where near historic levels, but peanuts are still a very viable crop for local producers.

Loyd Hines was a character in town. He was often seen in town wearing a big hat and boots. They matched his outgoing personality. He had a tire business on the bottom floor of the Masonic Lodge Building.

Where Are They Now? Cindy Ferguson

Cindy Ferguson has made a life out of the things she loves to do. She started as a cosmetologist, and is now enjoying a decadeslong career working with children; she has owned her own daycare, been the director of a Head Start program, and now works as an aide at Lipan ISD.
