The Lingleville Lady Cardinals were 13-14 heading into this week following deep battles with Rochelle and Lipan.
On Tuesday, Sept. 15, they won a 4-set victory over Rochelle. Linglville narrowly lost set 1 24-26 and then scored 25s in the next three sets with Rochelle scoring 10, 15 and 13.
Denise Toledo and Nevaeh Jacinto had 16 and 13 kills respectively. Brynlee James had 3 blocks.
They followed this with a 4-set loss to Lipan where they took set 1 25-19, but couldn’t capture a second set despite scoring 15, 23 and 24 in the following three sets.
Toledo and Sophie Hudson led in kills with 11 and 9 respectively. James and Hudson had 6 blocks each. Hudson and Toledo had 19 and 15 digs respectively.
