Dublin Cross Country runners showed good speed at the Sept. 2 Hico invitational meet with varsity boys taking first place as a team and varsity girls taking the third place team finish.
“This was a big step in the right direction for our entire cross country program,” said head cross country coach Wes Grisham. “We got to run against our district opponents in an atmosphere similar to the district meet. Our kids are confident and focused on doing what it takes to get to the regional meet.”
Dublin varsity Lions took the top spot above Hico, Comanche, Coleman, Tolar and Gorman thanks to several high rankings:
