Jack Arnold Corbell of Stephenville, Texas returned into the loving arms of his Savior on Sept. 6, 2023, surrounded by his family.

Jack was born on Feb. 28, 1928, to his parents, Ruby Lee (Ashmore) and Ivan Calvin Corbell in Tomball, Texas.

Jack proudly served our country in the U.S. Army and continued to Exxon and retired there after 32 dedicated years. After retirement he pursued ranching and spending time with his family and friends. He married the love of his life, Nancy (Barnes) Corbell, on May 28, 1958, and together they share 7 children and 65 loving years. Jack loved John Wayne and fishing, but above all his love for the Lord was first.

Jack is preceded by his parents, Ruby Lee, and Ivan Calvin Corbell, brother, Billy Joe Corbell, sister-in-law, Tommy Corbell, and granddaughter, Renea Rasberry.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Corbell, sons, Jack Corbell Jr. and Chad Corbell, daughters, Valli Lynn Walker, Annis Villarreal, Jamie Adams, Jo Lee Corbell, Teresa Corbell Prazan, 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Services were held Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, at Harrell Funeral Home in Dublin, Texas. Interment followed at Comyn Cemetery.
