Looking for the perfect thing for a fun night?

The Dublin Public Library has free board and card games to check out for game nights with family and/or friends.

Games are divided into those for 8 years old and younger with selections (like ‘junior’ versions of Apples to Apples, Scrabble, Operation! and more) and classic and contemporary games for 8 and up including Chess, Catan, Twister, Ticket to Ride and many more!

Like everything available at the library, these are free to check out. Call (254) 445-4141.

■ Cain’s Jawbone book club- 5 p.m.- Help piece together a complex murder mystery in which the pages were printed out of order. We need help!

Saturday, Feb. 25

■ Tween Book Club- 10 a.m. - Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin This fantasy inspired by Chinese folklore is a companion novel to Starry River of the Sky and the New York Times bestselling and National Book Award finalist When the Sea Turned to Silver.

“In the valley of Fruitless mountain, a young girl named Minli lives in a ramshackle hut with her parents. (In-person and online with Zoom)- “Wish You Were Here” by Jodi Picoult Diana O’Toole is a woman who has the perfect plan for her life, both personally and professionally. That plan includes a romantic getaway with her boyfriend to th Galapagos islands, where she expects a proposal. A viral outbreak forces her boyfriend to stay behind and work at the hospital. He insists she still go and she finds herself under quarantine with an outgoing family in a strange setting, questioning everything she thought she knew about her life.
