Hot Spots/Laptops It’s well know that the Dublin Public Library is a great resource for checking out a wide variety of books and movies, but patrons can find many other resources available for free, including some that can help get them online.
More 100 hot spots are available to check out, provided through grants from the American Library Association and Capital One and Emergency Connectivity Funds through the FCC. The devices let patrons without the internet connect their phones, computers and other devices to the inter through the T-Mobile, Verizon and AT&T mobile networks. Hot spots are available for one month and may be renewed as long as no one else is on the waiting list.
Ten HP Chromebook laptops are also available for anyone needing to do basic computer tasks and connect to the internet at home.
