BROWNWOOD
SLOW. Water slightly stained; 58-63 degrees; 8.28 feet low. Bass are slow to four pounds in 5-10 feet of water on jigs and squarebill crankbaits around docks with brush. Crappie to one pound are slow on minnows in brush piles. White bass are slow on jigs under the lights. Catfish are slow on cut shad and perch.
GRANBURY
SLOW. Water lightly stained; 60 degrees; 2.56 feet low. Granbury water temperatures have fallen to the low 60s with the recent cold snap. Striped bass fishing has turned on some on the lower ends on live bait and jigs. Crappie fishing continues to be good to excellent on jigs and small minnows. Largemouth bass in numbers has been fair to good on soft plastics fished near creek entrances and main lake points. Catfish action has also picked up on the upper ends on shallow flats. POSSUM KINGDOM
GOOD. Water lightly stained; 55-58 degrees; 6.01 feet low. Striper fishing is good and getting better. Live bait is the best way to catch them. 20-40 feet of water seems to be the ideal depth. Sand bass are good. Casting small spoons and slabs at schools of fish in 5-30 feet of water. Chartreuse, white, and silver are good colors. Catfish are good using cut shad in 2-15 feet of water fished on bottom. Water clarity is 3-5 feet of visibility.Report by TJ Ranft, Ranft Guide Service.

SLOW. Water lightly stained; 50 degrees; 6.96 feet low. Birds are working Crappie fishing are fair to good on the deeper main lake on brush piles with live minnows. Catfish are fair off rocks near the dam with shad. White bass are slow on slabs. Bass are slow moving to deeper water on chatterbaits and crankbaits.
WHITNEY
GOOD. Water lightly stained; 63 degrees; 7.56 feet low. Whitney striped bass limits continue to be common on the main lake and upstream of the Katy Bridge. Look for the birds.
