Body

SLOW. Water slightly stained; 61-66 degrees; 8.16 feet low. Bass are slow to 3.75 pounds in 5-10 feet of water on jigs and topwaters early in the day, and late in 1-5 feet of water on the flats. Squarebill crankbaits and shaky heads around docks with brush. Crappie to one pound are slow on minnows and jigs on brush piles. White bass are slow on jigs under the lights. Catfish are slow on cut bait and perch

SLOW. Water lightly stained; 60 degrees; 2.35 feet low. Largemouth bass are fair on rocky banks with trees around them using soft plastics and jigs. POSSUM KINGDOM

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 65 degrees; 5.91 feet low. Striper fishing is picking up slowly. Most fish are being caught while trolling chartreuse, white, or silver jigs. Fish are moving fast and scare easily. Sand bass are good, following schools of fish in 10-30 feet of water with white and chartreuse slabs. Catfish are good on cut shad fished on bottom in 5-15 feet of water. Water clarity is 2-4 feet of water. Report by TJ Ranft, Ranft Guide Service.

PROCTOR

SLOW. Water stained; 62 degrees; 8.93 feet low. Blue catfish are biting on cut shad in 10-18 feet of water along edges. Report by Jeffery Sojourner, Sojourner Fishing LLC.

WEATHERFORD

SLOW. Water lightly stained; 60 degrees; 6.80 feet low. Crappie fishing are slow on the deeper main lake on brush piles with live minnows. Should pick up near the fishing barge staging in the deeper water by the fishing barge feeding on shad. Catfish are fair off rocks near the dam with shad. White bass are slow on slabs. Bass are slow showing up shallow biting topwaters and crankbaits.

WHITNEY

GOOD. Water lightly stained; 63 degrees; 7.48 feet low. Crappie are in shallow creeks chasing bait fish in 6-10 feet of water, or out close to the main river channel in 15-25 feet of water using artificial baits by snacky Lures with an eyehole jig head in 1/8 and 1/16 ounce. Use electronics to find the schools and drop slabs down to them. Also started catching a few with large swimbaits in those same deeper schools.
