Sand bass are slow using chartreuse, white, and silver slabs in 10-25 feet of water. Catfish are great using cut shad is the best bait. For smaller catfish baited holes in 2-20 feet of water with cattle cubes or soured maze is good. Water clarity is 2-4 feet. Report by TJ Ranft, Ranft Guide Service.

PROCTOR

SLOW. Water stained; 62 degrees; 8.76 feet low. Fishing patterns are similar. Cooler temperatures have catfish starting to group up and the bite has improved from weeks past. Another couple weeks, and the bite will be even better. Blue catfish up to 24 pounds are biting on cut shad in 10-18 feet of water. Marking large groups along ledges and transitions. Early morning bite seems to be better than at night. Report by Jeffery Sojourner, Sojourner Fishing LLC.
