From Staff Reports
The following first responder calls were made Sept. 7 through Sept. 14.
Local first responders handled 103 calls during this time and PD completed 44 traffic stops.
Dublin PD Sept. 14
Two students were transported to school.
Dublin PD assisted another agency.
DPD was out with CPS for an investigation.
A large white dog (reportedly from Perry Street) was on the loose.
Reckless driving was reported on Hwy. 6 towards Dublin. Vehicle was reportedly acting that way because he was being followed.
A reporting individual’s dog passed away, and they requested an officer to show them where a dumpster was for animal control.
Sept. 15
There was a white Jeep on Hwy. 6 speeding into Dublin almost ran the reporting person and another vehicle off of the roadway.
An agency assist occurred when Bosque County Sheriff needed to speak with patrol about collecting a statement.
A person had taken care of two stray dogs, and requested animal control to come get them.
A person reportedly had all of the money in their bank account stolen.
A welfare concern took place on Live Oak and everything was okay.
An alarm activated on Hoffman Drive, was unknown if it was a fall or residential alarm.
There was a reckless driver call for a Chevy Tahoe all over the road on FM 1702. It was not located.
Sept. 16
A vehicle fire occurred on CR 351 and the caller stated the fire was out. An officer was requested by dispatch to make sure the fire was extinguished completely.
A criminal mischief call occurred in the 400 block of South Patrick.
An individual wanted to report animal cruelty when a person killed a bird and a kitten.
Suspicious activity was reported on Preston Street when an individual was following her, yelling at her and calling her names.
Michealangelo Amaya was arrested after a warrant service.
A kid was reportedly on a 4 wheeler on the roadway in front of traffic and on the median on Business 377. PD was unable to locate.
Sept. 17
A warrant service with code enforcement and Glueck’s occurred on Elm Street.
A person reported their car may have been stolen in the 700 block of East Sheridan. Car was paid off with key inside. Caller said her husband may have taken it.
A person requested information on someone not paying for a car loan, and they wanted to just get the car. Needed to know if they could do so.
A suspicious person was reported.
A large fight occurred at the junior high football game. All juveniles involved were released to their parents.
A hit and run accident occurred on Hwy. 6 with a 4 door Dodge sedan with a front end damage. Vehicle was not located.
Sept. 18
PD transported a student to school.
A theft occurred at Dollar General in the 400 block of South Patrick, and a report was taken.
A two vehicle accident occurred in the 15000 block of U.S. 377.
An agency assist occurred when a reckless driver almost hit someone on south U.S. 377. They were not located.
Possible gunfire or fireworks were reported on Highland Avenue.
Sept. 19
A single vehicle accident with injuries was reported on CR 334/1702.
A person reported a vehicle at a home that was supposed to be vacant.
A minor accident occurred in the 200 block of Highland.
An escort occurred on FM 219.
A kid hit a caller’s car with their bike in the 200 block of Highland. No injury and they were looking for the parents.
Suspicious activity was reported in the 300 block of West Live Oak when a 4 wheeler dumped trash.
A disturbance was reported in the 200 block of Highland.
A person reported an individual attempting to scam her out of money and threatening to come to her house.
Sept. 20
A person knocked on a reporting person’s door. They were possibly intoxicated and driving to Brookshires. They were not located.
A terroristic threat was reported when a male was on a dating app. He sent photos and now they are attempting to blackmail him for money.
A vehicle crash occurred when a passing pickup blew a tire on Hwy. 377 and Loop 267, and the tire went through the semi’s windshield.
A motorist assist was called in for a truck that wouldn’t start in the 600 block of Ireland Street.
An individual on Ella Street had two non-aggressive dogs that were not hers in her yard.
A vehicle crash occurred on Loop 267/ N. FM 219 with injuries.
A welfare concern was called in for an individual sitting on the side of the road near traffic on Hwy. 6.
An animal cruelty call was reported but not located on Pecan.
Dublin Volunteer Fire Department
Sept. 14 – A grass fire was reportedly spreading quickly in the 17000 block of FM 2 1 9 . Sept. 14 – a grass fire was into brush and threatening structures in the 19000 block of FM 205 Sept. 15 – Dublin VFD responded to Bosque County for mutual aid on a grass fire.
Sept. 16 – A small grass fire that was quickly extinguished was reported in the 700 block of North Patrick.
Sept. 16 – A grass fire with a couple of acres was reported in the 500 block of CR 349.
Sept. 20 – A grass fire was started from a lightning strike on CR 264.

Sept. 19 – a person believed she had a heart attack in the early morning hours, and it still felt heavy across her chest.
Sept. 19 – a female was choking.
