Blood Drive set for Thursday, Sept. 24
Dublin High School is partnering with Carter BloodCare for a blood drive from 9:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24. The blood bus will be on campus allowing those who would like to donate the ability to do so. Students at the high school can also donate, however, 16 years olds and younger require a signed parental consent form.
Those who donate will receive a special t-shirt while supplies last. For more information call Regina Rasberry at 254-445-0362.
Erath County EMS, Sville Fire partner with Red Cross for blood drive Erath County EMS and the Stephenville Fire Department are partnering with the American Red Cross to host a blood drive.
The blood drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at the new Erath County Annex, located at 222 E. College Street in Stephenville.

Harris Pumpkln Patch to open Oct. 3
The Harris Old West Pumpkin Patch in Dublin will open at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3. Admission is $10, with children 5 and under free.
There will be all sizes of pumpkins for purchase, hayrides, lemonade and concession stand, woodfired pizza, pumpkin treats and all kinds of goodies, photo ops and live music.
The patch is located at 1029 CR 304 in Dublin.
Dublin ISD announces Barn Raising Bash Dublin ISD invites the entire community to the Barn Raising Bash at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026, at the Dublin Secondary Campus.
This special community event will bring Dublin together in support of the vision for a new agriculture facility and barn for our students. The evening will feature a delicious meal, live music, live and silent auctions, tours of the district's current agriculture facilities, and plenty of great fellowship.
Agriculture education has a proud tradition in Dublin ISD, and this event is about investing in its future— creating opportunities for generations of Dublin students to learn, lead, and grow.

Harbin VFD Fish Fry Oct. 3
The Harbin Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting a fish fry fundraiser at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3. There will be fish, hushpuppies, fries, coleslaw, beans, dessert and drinks. Dine in and carry out are available. Meals are donation based. They are also doing a drawing to win a Miller 230 welder. Tickets are $20 each or six for $100. All proceeds go to benefit the fire department. — submitted
Bygone Days on the Bosque
Bygone Days on the Bosque will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Stephenville Historical House Museum. There will be cooking demos, a quilt show, crafts for all ages, blacksmithing, a western shoot out and more! The event is free, but donations are accepted.

Carlton Baptist Church to host Fall Festival
Carlton Baptist Church will be hosting a fall festival from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23.
A free meal will be offered starting at 5:30 p.m. The event will include speaker Ray Arechiga from Young Life in Coleman and music with STU Worship from Stephenville.
