Pete Anderson

William Clyde ‘Pete’ Anderson, 74, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on July 27, 2026, in Dublin, Texas.

Pete was born August 30, 1951, in Ft. Worth, Texas to Clyde and Marie Anderson. Pete attended school in Godley, Texas and moved to Granbury to start his career in heavy machinery with H.B. Zachry where he worked to expand the Brazos River into the Lake Granbury that we know today.

After his time with H.B. Zachry, Pete had many occupations, working for Safeway, Durant Dozer Service, Adkins seasonings, and finished his career with Erath County in 2016. In his retirement years, Pete was often found volunteering at First Baptist Church in Dublin, Texas where he was a man of all trades.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Marie Anderson, his brothers, Joe and Cotton Anderson, sister, Mary Frances Davis, and daughter, Sherri Anderson. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Tresa Anderson; children, Melissa Anderson, Matthew Lovelace and Brittany Kolodziej; 4 grandchildren, Lyla Anderson, Joshua Killingsworth, Christian Killingsworth, and Quinn Kolodziej; three brothers and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday July 31, 2026, at First Baptist Church, Dublin Texas with funeral service immediately following. Pete was laid to rest at Garden of Memories in Desdemona, Texas.

Pete’s greatest desire was to share Jesus with everyone he met and that he did!
