Daryle Brown
Daryle A. Brown, 69, of De Leon, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026. He was born on March 16, 1957, in Wichita, Kansas, to Delbert W. Brown and Diane Lee Statler Brown. Daryle married the love of his life, Connie Davidson, on March 25, 2011.
Daryle was raised in Dublin and graduated from Dublin High School in 1975. He was employed with Texas Cooperative Inspection Program, where he served as Director of Programs. He retired after thirty-five years of dedicated service. While his career required him to travel for extended periods of time, Dublin and De Leon were always his home.
In his free time, Daryle loved farming and caring for his cattle - a true love-hate relationship that usually ended with him having a story to tell. He also enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, watching all sports, and dancing. Outgoing, friendly, and kind, Daryle never met a stranger. He had a quick wit, loved to tease those he cared about, and could always be counted on to make people laugh. He had a way of making every gathering a little more fun. He was a loyal friend whom others could always depend on.
His greatest joy in life was his family. He was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a cherished brother. Time spent with those he loved brought him immeasurable happiness, and the laughter he shared with them will be remembered just as much as his kindness. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, though many would say the best way to remember Daryle is to smile, tell a good story, and share a laugh in his honor.
He leaves behind a loving legacy in his family: his wife, Connie Brown; his mother, Diane Brown; his children, Ashly Sandlin and husband, Cole, and Brittany Rogers and husband, Clayton; his grandchildren, Kyle Sandlin and wife, Hannah, Kelci Sandlin, Ashtyn Rogers, Havana Rogers, and Heston Rogers; his greatgrandchildren, Saylor Sandlin and Emberly Sandlin; his brothers, Shane Brown, and Lance Brown and wife Cindy, his fatherin- law, Bud Davidson; his brother- and sisters-in-law, Nick and Jane Celaya and Sue Davidson; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Daryle was preceded in death by his former wife, Teresa Dyer; his father, Delbert Brown; his grandson, Jesse Sandlin; his mother-in-law, Wanda Davidson; his brother-inlaw, Lee Davidson; and his sister-in-law, Jeannie Hilley.
Funeral services celebrating Daryle’s life were held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Nowlin Anders Funeral Home with Minister Jeremy Sprouse officiating. Interment followed in Victor Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Kyle Sandlin, Nathan Brown, Johnny Martinez, Clayton Hudson, Dalton Friesenhahn, and Jesse Ebeling.
