Body

The following first responder calls were made June 29-July 6. Local first responders handled 106 calls during this time frame and PD completed 33 traffic stops.

June 29

An abandoned vehicle was reported in the 1500 block of South Patrick.

An animal at large was reported in the 600 block of North Post Oak. The dog seemed aggressive, snarling and barking.

A disturbance was reported when a male allegedly threatened an oversized load with a gun.

A caller reported road rage after a black Jeep ran car off roadway on Hwy. 377.

Suspicious activity was reported when people chased a minor on a bike from the park to their residence on FM 219. Suspects were in a black truck.

A person with a BB gun was reported on North Grafton Street and North Patrick. The individual was on their way to a friend’s house to sell the gun for $20.

Someone was sleeping in a van in the PD parking lot.

June 30

Suspicious activity was reported in front of Blackjack Officer Center when a man was spotted with a gun on camera. Was already handled, BB gun was being sold.

A person was advised by her bank she was being scammed. A report was filed.

July 1

A suspicious person was reported in the 200 block of Highland.

A reporting person was concerned about kids that were playing in and around the collapsed building next door to Golden Butterfly.

A burglary alarm was activated in the 400 block of Edwards.

Child custody issues were reported.

A burglar alarm was reported in the 400 block of Edwards Dr.

A code enforcement citation was issue on South Camden and East O’Neal.

An animal at large was reported in the 200 block of East Liveoak Street. The roaming German shepherd was reported as roaming for months and not aggressive.

July 2

A person came home to a Tesla in their back lot in the 200 block of Hawk St.

An alarm activated in the 400 block of Edwards Drive.

An individual wanted to talk to an officer about his son turning on water illegally yesterday.

Harassment occurred through text message.

July 3

An individual in a vehicle was peeling out and doing donuts in the area of Granny Clark’s. Eduardo Morales was arrested for no drivers license.

An individual was reported for allegedly not feeding their wife.

Suspicious activity was reported when metal was taken off of an AC in the 200 block of North Grafton.

A suspicious person was reported in the 300 block of Highland where an individual wearing a reflective vest was going door-to-door selling Brightspeed. Subject had a permit from the city.

An agency assist occurred on West Washington.

An agency assisted occurred in the 28000 block of U.S. Hwy. 291.

Reckless driving was reported in the 10000 block of Hwy. 377 between a grey charger, green truck and black truck.

PD was flagged down by a citizen on Hwy. 377 south.

Reckless driving was reported on U.S. 377.

July 4 Dublin PD assisted Stephenville PD on call regarding a disturbance. Person was not in trouble, they were simply concerned about drunk driving.

Citation was issued on Highland Street for city ordinance violation for shooting off fireworks in the city limits.

Citation was issued on Sheridan Street for city ordinance violation for shooting off fireworks in the city limits.

An open door was reported on Wild Street.

A warning was given on a city ordinance violation for shooting off fireworks in the city limits on South Liberty/ East Hob.

Fireworks reported on Clinton/Camden.

July 5

5-6 kittens were trapped under a porch in the 300 block of North Camden Street.

A vehicle went through a mailbox in the 200 block of North Grafton Street.

A reckless driver was reported in the city park headed toward Hwy. 6.

A tree was reported down in a roadway on CR 322/ Old Dublin Cemetery.

A caller heard a loud boom near the Dublin Public Library and there was no power in the area. Eloy Bustante hit a power pole by the library was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.

Erath County EMS – Dublin division

June 30 – A female was having trouble breathing June 30 – An elderly male was having chest pain June 30 – A female fell and needed assistance.

July 2 – A subject was out at the EMS building.

July 2 – A lift assist was requested for an elderly person.

July 4 – An elderly male fell out of his wheelchair.

July 5 – An elderly male was choking, took his pills and was having difficulty breathing.

Dublin VFD

June 30-Dublin VFD aided Proctor with about 30 bales of hay on fire near a structure just outside of Proctor.

July 1 – Comanche County requested assistance for tractor, grass fire closer to the Hwy. 67 end.

July 1 – A trailer in trees was fully engulfed on CR 279.

July 2 – Fire assisted EMS on a call.

July 3 – A fire was reported in the 4100 block of North FM 219.

July 4- a field was on fire with haybales in the 1500 block of CR 298. Tractor also in field trying to put it out.

July 4 – Grass fire from fireworks in the 2900 block of CR 522.

July 4 – A different fire was reported in the 1500 block of CR 298 near a barn.

July 4 – a large fire was reported near Lingleville High School with a fire near residences. Dublin VFD was disregarded, fire was not as bad as reported.

July 4 – fire responded to the 1200 block of South Liberty.

July 5 – Fire reported on CR 298/CR 299 July 5 – Dublin VFD assisted with a hay bale on fire that was catching a field on fire in the 600 block of Hwy. 1496.
