2025 County Pecan Show Results
Comanche County is one of the top producers of pecans not only in Texas, but the world; we are currently ranked as the #2 county in Texas for pecan production. Pecans are a major economic crop for our county. We have had several tough years for pecans in the county and area, but the last couple of years have been a little better. As far back as anyone can remember there was a yearly Comanche Show Pecan Show. Once again, this year we had some very high-quality nuts entered in the Pecan Show. This year’s judges were Monte Nesbit, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Pecan Specialist and Dr. Kyle Slusher, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Pecan IPM Agent. They were both very impressed with the quality and variety of our entries this year.
