2024 County Pecan Show Results

Comanche County is one of the top producers of pecans not only in Texas, but in the world. We are currently ranked as the #2 county in Texas for pecan production. Pecans are a major economic crop for our county. We have had several tough years for pecans in the county and area, but this year was a little better for pecans. As far back as anyone can remember, there has been a yearly Comanche County Pecan Show. We had some very high-quality nuts entered in the show this year and this year’s judge was Monte Nesbit, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Pecan Specialist. Monte was very impressed with the quality and variety of entries this year.
