Body

GOOD. Water stained; 81 degrees; 0.40 feet below pool. Black bass are fair with catches up to 4 pounds being caught on buzz baits and frogs in the new water in the grass and weeds. Crankbaits will hook a catch off the rocks in 2-8 feet around the rock cuts. Crappie are slow with 12 inch fish being caught around docks with brush on minnows in 8-12 feet. White bass are good with catches up to 1.50 pound on crankbaits around the lighted docks and some schooling action. Catfish are fair with catches up to 4 pounds fishing baited holes with minnows and shad, or drifting cut shad on the main lake flats.

GRANBURY

GOOD. Water stained; 83 degrees; 0.23 feet below pool. Striped bass are slow to fair with some good fish to 12 pounds possible. Best bait for striped bass are live gizzard shad fished on points and ridges in 15-25 feet of water. Largemouth bass to 7 pounds are possible near laydowns and docks near major creek entrances. Some good reports on catches in the river above Granbury. Best baits continue to be crankbaits and soft plastics. Crappie action continues to be good on jigs and small minnows fished on submerged structures. Some good crappie action has been on timber north of the railroad bridge. Catfish are active all over the lake and are good on cut shad and prepared baits fished in 15-20 feet of water near creek channel ledges. Sand bass are chasing shad on the surface on many areas of the lake, small rattle traps and inline spinners are effective on these schooling fish.

POSSUM KINGDOM GOOD. Water stained; 84 degrees; 1.50 feet below pool. Striped bass are slow in 30-50 feet of water with downriggers and artificial baits. Fish are moving fast and not staying in one spot long. Sand bass are slow in 10-20 feet of water with live shad or small slabs and jigs or rattle traps. Best colors are white and silver. Try casting to the fish to keep from spooking them. Catfish are fair on cut shad or your favorite brand of stink bait, also known as punch bait, is producing good numbers of fish in 20-30 feet of water fished on or near the bottom. The water temperature is ranging from 79-86 degrees. Water clarity is steady at 6-12 feet of visibility.

PROCTOR

SLOW. Water stained; 85 degrees; 3.81 feet below pool. Catfish are slow but can be caught from the bank on punch bait, in deep with cut bait, or on jug lines. Hybrid and white bass are reported to be slow.
