Power lines down in the roadway in the 400 block of Grand. Oncor was contacted and the roadway was shut down until the lines are repaired.

A reporting person advised three teenage boys came to his house in the 300 block of North Camden and tried to steal a bike. They were advised not to come back to the property. Officer spoke with the caller and the juveniles about the situation.

A reporting person is translating for his mom about a phone call for extortion. Officer advised it was likely a scam to fish for information and they would do a close patrol.

An ATM alarm was going off at the bank. Alarm company requested an officer to go check it out. Officer did a building search, checked the ATM and could not find anyone tampering or anyone in the building.

A reporting person requested a welfare check on an individual. Officer went to the residence and talked to the individual who was having some mental struggles.

Aug. 31

There were chickens out in front of BIG’s by the highway.

There was an offline alarm at Dublin Elementary. Officer checked the building, everything was OK and clear.

A reporting person advised that someone had taken out their fence line at the back of the property in the 600 block of West Douglas.

There was a gas drive off at Allsup’s. Officers responded until deputies could get there.

Sept. 1

A reporting person was walking and a German Shepherd came towards on her on Gracie Street. Officer found the dog and the residence, the dog was not aggressive, just at large. Neighbor put the dog back into the fence.

A person came into the station to speak with an officer about child abuse.

Sept. 2

There were reports of goats out on Highway 6 East.

There was a report that people were fighting near the cemetery, unsure of exact location. Officer was unable to locate.

Sept. 3

A reporting person saw a Hispanic male in a grey shirt and dark pants carrying a rifle walking down the road on Highway 6 West. Officer went to the area but did not locate anyone.

A reporting person advised a male walked up to her looking for a lost cat and she had never seen him before. He came up from behind the house and was walking around the housing authority.
