A new boutique downtown is welcoming customers with open arms and currently with a wide range of shamrock inspired clothing to welcome in St. Patrick’s Day.

The Bohemian Ranch boutique, owned by Larissa Lewis, is now open on Blackjack Street in downtown Dublin.

The boutique clothing and accessory store offers a variety of western/boho items along with custom orders on many products.

“My husband grew up here and I’ve always wanted to open a store that’s family based. We want to get to know our customers and have a relationship with them when they come in and shop with us. I wanted to be downtown so it’s convenient for our customers and easy to come shop,” she said.

Lewis said she loves fashion and standing out, combining typical western wear with a little extra pizzazz.

“So many people are nervous to wear a ‘bright’ outfit, but I think everyone can carry themselves confidently and make a statement,” she said.

The store will be carrying mainly ladies clothing for now but all graphic tees are unisex. She plans to bring in more men’s clothing as time goes on and the boutique carries sizes small through 2X. Hosting a soft opening on Feb. 25, Lewis is planning a grand opening soon.

Offering custom tees, sweaters, tumblers, cups and hats, Lewis said they are pretty crafty and make a lot of items themselves.

“We also have Sezzle, so customer can make “payments” and split their purchase into 4 charges and still get their items same day! This way they’re not paying such a big amount up front if they want to buy more,” she said.

The shop is as unique as its styles as Lewis’ husband built everything in her store.

“We actually took all the wood and tin out from an old barn in our pasture to give everything that western ranch look. We were able to move back out on some land that was my husband’s great-grandma’s old property. So moving back and being here, we wanted to make the most of it. It meant more to us to use all the items off the property and turn it into something,” she said.

Currently, Lewis is a nurse at the Texas Health Hospital in Stephenville working in Med/Surg at the hospital and at an OB/ GYN clinic for the hospital as well.

For now, Lewis will maintain her job as a nurse but eventually she hopes to transition to the store fulltime.

Currently, the store is open 4-7 p.m. during the week and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the weekends.

This week, the store will open a little after noon on Friday for St. Patrick’s Day shopping.

The best way for people to see new merchandise is to go to the store’s Facebook page or website.

“We do live sales and have a ‘VIP’ Facebook group that shows a lot of our new items as well,” she said.
