Early voting for the November mid-term election, which features a slew of candidates including Texas Governor is continuing with the Dublin location opening Monday.
Early voting will be held at the Erath County Courthouse from; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27; 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.; Friday, Oct. 28; noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29; and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31 through Friday, Nov. 4.
There will be early voting from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Patrick Street Church of Christ in Dublin from Monday, Oct. 31 through Friday, Nov. 4.

Completed requests need to be mailed to County Clerk, 100 W. Washington, Stephenville, TX, 76401.
Requests must be received by Friday, Oct. 28.
Texas voters who are eligible to vote by mail must provide: (1) a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS)-issued Texas Driver License, Personal ID or Election ID Certificate number; OR (2) the last 4 digits of their Social Security Number on both their Application for a Ballot by Mail (ABBM) and mail ballot carrier envelope. As long as one of the ID numbers provided matches what is on the voter’s registration record, the voter’s ABBM and ballot can be accepted.
“Please take the time to read the instructions your county gives you carefully before putting your ballot in the mail. Don’t forget to provide an ID number, under the flap of the carrier envelope, to protect the security of your personal information,” Texas Secretary of State John Scott said.
To vote by mail in Texas, you must meet one of the following criteria: 65 years of age or older on election day; disabled; expecting to give birth within three weeks before or after election day; absent from the county of registration during the early voting period and on election day; civilly committed under chapter 841 of the Texas Health and Safety Code or confined in jail, but otherwise eligible.
