Karsyn, Wyatt, Jessa and Sammy Bamber enjoy petting calves at the second annual Grinchmas Healthy Pet Holiday Event hosted by Greens Creek Veterinary Hospital on Saturday, Dec. 3. The event helped collect funds, pet food and products for Inside Voice, a pet nonprofit. Nov. 14 There was a report of a dog tied to a tree in the 300 block of West Mesquite and wrapped where it can’t move. The dog was untangled where it was able to get to shelter out of the weather. There was a report of three dogs running towards the city park.

BROWNWOOD SLOW. Water slightly stained; 58-63 degrees; 8.28 feet low. Bass are slow to four pounds in 5-10 feet of water on jigs and squarebill crankbaits around docks with brush. Crappie to one pound are slow on minnows in brush piles. White bass are slow on jigs under the lights.
