The warmer wetter weather we were having had snakes on the move. It is the time of year for snakes to become active. I realize the chance of injury from a snake bite is far less likely than the chance of a heart attack caused by walking up on a snake.

Dr. Larry Troxell, CEO of Comanche County Medical Center, reports that the organization had its best month in history in March. This follows a banner year in 2022 which saw nearly 300% growth in business since 2018.

It’s hard to believe we have started our last six weeks of school. It has been a very busy and rewarding year for our staff and students. Dublin Intermediate School has lots of exciting events coming in the month of May. Our STAAR tests will soon be underway as well.

The Dublin ISD community and the town are in mourning after the loss of Dublin High School senior Jordan Sanchez. Jordan was killed in an accident April 4. “He was a very sweet and kind hearted young man who was well liked by many. He was very intelligent and worked hard.
