Growth and pre-application meetings filled the Feb. 12 Erath County Commissioners Court agenda. Subdivision coordinator Jason Gardner updated the commissioners on several projects taking place in the county through preapplication meetings.

Filing for local seats for school board and city council will close Friday, Feb. 16 for the May 4 election. For Dublin ISD, there are three school board seats up including those currently held by Bob Cervetto, Raymond Salinas and James Moore.

Nash commends staff, law enforcement; seeks 4th term

District Attorney Alan Nash is seeking re-election for his fourth term and is running unopposed in the March 5 primary. Nash has been D.A. since 2012, when he was first appointed by Governor Rick Perry, then stood for election that fall, and was re-elected in 2016 and 2020.

Thursday Club studies Higginbotham family
