Body

The Lingleville School Board updated COVID-19 guidelines during the regular January meeting Monday night.

After the wellness guideline were reviewed and discussed by board members, the board adopted an updated policy allowing students and staff to return to school after 48 hours of exhibiting no symptoms. The guidelines were reviewed to make them equal for students and staff.

The board also approved a declaration of the bus route designation as dangerous due to infrastructure and hazardous material. The designation is approved annually to allow the school to pick up nearby students since there are no sidewalks or crosswalks in the area.

The board also discussed Superintendent Curt Haley’s evaluation in closed session. No action was taken when the meeting returned to open session.
