The Lions hosted Clyde in the annual Green and Gold Scrimmage Thursday, Aug. 18 in preparation for their first game as they face Fort Worth Christian in an away game on Friday, Aug. 26.
Head Coach Greg Hardcastle said Clyde proved some good practice and felt that while the Lions started slow, they found footing by the two live quarters played at the end of the scrimmage.
The coach said facing a private school is unfamiliar territory for the Lions but added that the school has a solid history and strong passing game. Hardcastle said information on Friday’s games will be put up on the Dublin ISD Facebook page, which will also host a livestream provided by FW Christian.
