The Dublin Lions are slated for a playoff bid on Thursday, Feb 18 at 7 p.m. when they will face Holliday at Weatherford High School in the Bi-District Championships. (Further playoff information was not available at press time.)

The team was third in district with a record of 8-3 heading into Tuesday night’s game following a 77-60 win over the Millsap Bulldogs on Feb. 2

“Five consecutive years of getting in the playoffs is quite an accomplishment in Region 1,” said Head Basketball Coach Will Parker.

“I’m very proud of the hard work and sacrifice our guys have committed to this season,” he continued. “We are again ranked in the top 10 in scoring in the state of Texas, averaging over 68 points per game.”

“We’ve got some work to do on the defensive end, but if we can stay healthy and Covid-free we could give teams a lot to handle in the playoffs.”
