The Lady Lions battled Breckenridge and Millsap in games last week.
The Dublin girls started out the week at home as they hosted Millsap on Jan. 3.
“We came out strong the first half against Millsap, then couldn’t get anything to fall in the second half,” said head Dublin girls basketball coach Kim Perez.
Gabby Herrera led Dublin scoring with 22. NavaLee White had 7 points and rebound. Mailyn Loper had 5 points and 4 rebounds, Libby Turner scored 4, Sierra Chapa scored 3, Emma Vargas had 2, and Jaden Harrell had 1.
Madison Turley had 6 rebounds and Derby Kukla helped with 8.
Perez said the Dublin girls struggled offensively when they faced Breckenridge in an away game Jan. 6.
“They got hot and we couldn’t stop them,” she said.
Herrera scored 17. Turley had 8 points and 6 rebounds. White and Chapa had 3, and Turner had 1.
