The Dublin JV Lions hosted the Millsap Bulldogs Thursday, Sept. 5 on the Cervetto Field.
Coach Andrew Norwood described the battle as back and forth defensively.
“We had a chance to get great field advantage from a blocked punt and as well as a bad punt snap but couldn't execute getting on top of the ball,” he admitted. “Offensively we were moving the chains but came short on our 3rd downs.”
Quarterback Kyler Gaitan kept the game from being a shutout with a late game long run into the endzone. The Lions followed that with a successful two-point attempt for 8 points against Millsap’s 38.
