Following the second round of district golf, DHS senior Bailey Watson was just 10 strokes from qualifying for the Region 1 golf tournament with a 97.
Senior Charlie Rasberry led the Dublin boys with a 90.
“The boys team finished 6th place out of 10 with everyone improving scores and playing their best golf,” said head DHS golf coach Wes Grisham. “I really wish we could extend the season because we’re getting more consistent striking the ball and making good shots.”

■ Cameron Patton - 121 Jennave Vilaro improved her play and contact with 151. “Her first year she improved quickly and was a fast learner,” said Grisham.
“Overall I’m really proud of our golf teams; I couldn’t ask for a better group of kids representing Dublin,” Grisham continued. “This year the kids really absorbed the lessons that golf teaches you and I hope that carries on into their life. This was one of the most enjoyable years I’ve coached golf because they were eager to learn and applied it to their game.”
