BRYANT

Wanda Mae (Davis) Bryant of Weatherford, Texas, returned to her loving Savior Feb. 14, 2025. Born Feb. 9, 1937, in Lubbock, Texas, to Eula Mae and Samuel Emmett Davis, Wanda was known for her loving soul, angelic smile, and her infamous hugs.

She married Wayne Bryant in 1954, and together they had three daughters. Wanda and Wayne lived over 40 years in Dublin, close to their friends and family.

Wanda worked at Dublin ISD for 20 years and continued to share her love for children by working part-time at the Dublin Church of Christ in childcare after retiring. Her family was her whole world, and she was happiest holding a baby. Wanda wanted the best for everyone, and if they were happy, she was happy.

Wanda is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Wayne Bryant, her parents, Eula Mae and Samuel Emmett Davis, her sisters, Willie Faye Ferguson and Nora Stalcup, and her brother, Dalton Davis.

She is survived by her daughters, Vicky and Raymond Scott of Comanche, Texas, Sherry and Win Brown (deceased) of Weatherford, Texas, Ginger and Bobby Holladay (deceased) of Fort Mills, South Carolina, her brothers, Sam Davis, Jim Davis, Lee Ray and Lisa Davis of Burleson, Texas, her brother-in-law, Wallace Stalcup of Borger, Texas, her grandchildren, Shana, Shelly, Shela, Beau, David, Tim, Misty, Brandy, Tonya, and 16 greatgrandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, at Harrell Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, at the Dublin Church of Christ with interment to follow at the New Dublin Liveoak Cemetery.
