Margie Daniel Davis, 95, of Comanche, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
Arrangements are with Heartland Funeral & Cremation of Comanche, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19th at the funeral home. Her funeral service, conducted by Brian Hall, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at the Heartland funeral home followed by a committal service in the Toliver Cemetery of Gustine, Texas. Margie was born in Lometa, Texas on September 1, 1929 to Charlie Daniel and Bertha Mae (Davis) Wright.
Margie was a member of the Southside Pentecostal Church of Comanche, Texas where she played the piano for many years along with playing the guitar and mandolin. She was a great cook and famous for her homemade biscuits.
Margie is survived by children Jim Daniel and wife Lynn of Muleshoe, Texas, Denver Daniel and wife Kim of San Saba, Texas, Paula Vaughn and husband Earlie of Comanche, Texas, Iris Kerley and husband Bill of Dublin, Texas, Patsy Conter and husband Bill of Sidney, Nebraska, 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Also one brother J.R. Wright, numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by husbands R.J. Daniel and Jack Davis; her parents, brothers Paul, Barney, John, O.B, Dan Timothy; sisters Ruth Wright, Charlene Neeper, and Charlotte Graham.
