Kay Stone was called home to her Lord and Savior Aug. 27 , 2024.
Kay was born in Punkin Center, Texas Sept. 13 , 1942 to J.D. and Ailene Studer.
Kay worked as an RN doing home health nursing for 30 years, she enjoyed helping others and became attached to many of her patients over the years. She worshiped at the Southside Church of Christ in Dublin, Texas for many years. She had a deep faith in Jesus Christ and each and everyone of her church family was special to her. Her family was the most cherished thing in her life.
She had three sons that she devoted her life to raising and three daughters-in-law that she loved very much. She had 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grand children, five great-great grandchildren and one on the way, two brothers and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Kay was preceded in death by her father J.D. Studer, her mother Ailene Studer, her sister Patsy Murphy and her husband A.C. Stone.
She is survived by her sons Randal Kirkland (Jessie Kirkland) of Blanket, Texas, Johnny Kirkland (Teresa Walton) of Stephenville, Texas , Troy Johnson (Christy Johnson) of Pace , Florida, her two brothers Johnny Studer (Connie Studer) of Hico, Texas and Richard Studer of Riesel, Texas.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday Aug. 31 , 2024 at the Southside Church of Christ in Dublin, Texas. The family welcomes friends to come and share in the celebration of life.
The family ask that in lieu of flowers please make donations to a charity of your choice that helps senior citizens or to research for Pulmonary Fibrosis in her name.
