Lessell Melvina Evans, 82, passed away on December 6, 2020 in Deleon, Texas. Lessell was born on June 3, 1938 in Gorman, Texas to her parents Edward Andrew Rogers and Iva Rosemary (Carroll). Lessell worked as a school bus driver for Dublin ISD and was a school bus driver in Archer City; she retired in 2005. She was loved by all and served as a mom to others. She loved each and everyone of the students on her school bus as her own.
Lessell is preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Byron Evans, Jr. in 2006 and her daughter-in-law Stacie Evans in 2020.
She is survived by her son Edward “Kent” of Colleyville, Texas her daughter and son-in-law Cynthia and Michael Hulsey of Dublin, Texas her four grandchildren Trinity, Maxx, Jacob, Summer and several other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held at Harrell Funeral Home on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 10 a.m.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the New Dublin Live Oak Cemetery at 11 a.m.
