Freddie Gail Davis, 71, passed away on January 29, 2021 in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on July 28, 1949 in Dublin, Texas to his parents Roe Allon Davis and Ara Faye (Hawley) Davis. Freddie retired after serving 20 years in the United States Army. He married Gay Lena Davis on June 4, 1968 in Odessa, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his brother Bobby Davis and his sister Nelda Wilkinson.
Freddie is survived by his wife Gay Davis of Deleon, Texas, his daughters and sons-in-law Serla and Buddy Cabaniss of Rotan, Texas and Ronda and Stephen Grace of Pensecda, Florida, his grandchildren Jonathan Leathers, Jacob Cabaniss, Joshua (JD) Cabaniss, David Laird, Teri Laird, Elias Grace and Hailey Grace, his brothers Jesse Davis and Mark Davis, his sister Peggy Davis, and many other kinfolks and friends who will miss him dearly.
A graveside service with United States Military Honors will be held on Thursday, Feb. 4 at 11 a.m. at at New Dublin Live Oak Cemetery in Dublin, Texas.
