Ann Daniel Ann Daniel, 87, passed away peacefully in her sleep shortly after midnight on March 17, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 4 in the chapel of First Presbyterian Church Fort Worth.

Ann was born on Dec. 5, 1937, in Tahoka, Texas to Alonzo Howard “Zick” Calvery and Inez Morris Calvery. She moved to Arlington on her third birthday and later lived on the Jacksboro Highway, but was a resident of east Fort Worth from about age 10.

She was married to Walter Daniel on April 14, 1956, until his death on Feb. 26, 2020. She is survived by her children, Richard Daniel, Raymond Daniel, and Melinda Daniel; grandchildren Ansel Johnson II, Roland Johnson II, LeeAnna Johnson, Hillari Kannenberg, and Jared Barnes; and great grandchildren, Jaecion Wallace, Carter Kannenberg, Annie Kannenberg, and Clay Barnes.
