ALLEN

Mary Joyce Allen went to be with the lord on Aug.7, 2022 in Fort Worth, Texas. Mary was born on March 23, 1942 in Lewisburg, Tennessee to her parents Sally Louise (Bowen) and William Roy Poarch.

After going to college Mary met and later married her husband Robert Allen on June 5, 1959 and together the couple welcomed five children.

She worked in data entry for many years and loved spending time with her family.

Mary is preceded in death by her two sons Tracy Allen on Aug. 3, 2020, and Terry Allen on Nov. 13, 1982, her parents Sally and William Poarch, two sisters Alice Thankerson and Della Steele and one brother Roy “Bubba” Poarch.

Mary is survivied by her husband Robert Allen of Granbury, Texas, her sons and daughters-in-law Tony and Tina Allen of Buda, Texas, and Tim and Hong Allen of Jarrell, Texas, her daughter and son-inlaw Tammy and William Austin of Livingston, Texas, her grandchildren Chris Allen, Jessica Allen, Meranda and Jeremy Heaton, Amber and Matt Gonzales, and Darian Allen, her greatgrandchildren, Bret Allen, Ashton Allen, Reed Allen, Stratton Allen, Devin Fleming, Jaylen Trevino, Aubrey Trevino, and Anna Heaton, her sister Pauline Facemyer and many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation for Mary will be on Friday, Aug. 12, 2022 at Harrell Funeral Home from 6 p.m-8 p.m.

Funeral service for Mary will be on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022 at Harrell Funeral Home at 10 a.m. followed by internment at Upper Greens Creek Cemetery.
