I moved to Dublin 6 years ago and I love the small town life. I love having a business in one of the old downtown buildings. I love seeing regular customers and meeting tourists from all over Texas and around the world, but in the past 3 years since the Bottling Works has closed their Soda Shop & Museums tourism has slowed down significantly.
I want to see new things that will bring visitors downtown. Things Celtic is celebrating 25 years in business and this is a great opportunity to showcase my business and this great community. I’m not someone who settles for “we’ve always done it that way”. If I want something new to happen, then I’ll do the work and spend my money to make it happen. I’m scheduling events for March 16th at Wright Park downtown; I’m trying to bring new vitality to Dublin businesses.
I hope you all stop by to pet the miniature Highland Cows, listen to the bagpipes and eat a traditional meat pie!
