Jerry D. Cogburn was born July 8, 1951, in Dublin, Texas He passed away Sept. 9, 2023.
He was the son of Gene and Jimmie Cogburn. He married the love of his life, Delia Kay Cogburn on Feb.16, 2002, in Cleburne, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his mom and dad and his wife Delia.
He is survived by: sons, Brandon and wife Sandra, Joshua and wife Ashlee and Jason and wife Monica; seven grandkids, brother, Darrell Cogburn and wife Lennell and sister, Karen Fincannon and husband Danny.
Jerry was a member of Patrick Street Church of Christ. He loved his family and classic Chevy vehicles. His greatest joy was a 1968 pickup that he was able to restore over the years, as well as others.
He touched many people’s hearts and had numerous friends and acquaintances. He was a loving and compassionate person who always had a smile to share with others. He will be deeply missed by his family, associates, friends, and contacts.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2023, at the New Dublin Liveoak Cemetery.
