Those looking for some fun activities this weekend need not look any further than downtown Dublin on Saturday.
The Dublin Public Library will be hosting its Kindness Carnival in conjunction with the Star Council from 10 a.m. to noon. The event, which is free and open to everyone, will feature carnival games, prizes and community organizations to promote resources and summer activities.
“I’m really excited to see everyone and share about all the fun events at the library this summer,” Library Director Adina Dunn said.
In conjunction, there will be a job fair hosted by the Dublin Chamber of Commerce. Workforce Solutions of North Central Texas will be there to help youth sign up for the summer Earn and Learn program. They are going to bring their mobile unit with 13 computer stations.
Eager readers may also want to take the opportunity to sign up for this year’s Summer Reading Club which officially kicks off Friday, May 19.
Also, the Dublin Market will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Wright Park offering baked goods, canned goods, plants, wearables, home decor, home necessities and lots of fun things to see and buy.
