GRANBURY

Body

GOOD. Water slightly stained; 65-70 degrees; 8.98 feet below pool. Black bass to 6.43 pounds are good on topwater walking baits, jigs, and crankbaits in 1-8 feet of water. The bass are nearly done spawning, with many fish in post spawn. Crappie are good around the lake in 2-5 feet of water on jigs and 8-14 feet of water on minnows. White bass are good around scattered rocky shorelines, and in the lights at night or crankbaits or small swimbaits and minnows. Catfish are good to 15 pounds on cut bait near the flats and spawning areas on juglines.

FAIR. Water lightly stained; 62-70 degrees; 1.79 feet below pool. Water temperatures are in the 60s across the lake with some 70 degree water in the backs of shallow sloughs.

POSSUM

KINGDOM

GOOD. Water clear; 66-69 degrees; 5.55 feet below pool. Striper fishing is good with the fish scattered and moving quickly in 8-54 feet of water. Fish are hungry biting live bait or white, blue or green artificials. Sand bass are good with some fish still spawning, but most are post spawn. Fish white divers, slabs, and small jigs on points and ledges in 20-35 feet of water. Catfish are fair while fish gear up to spawn. Catfish are somewhat scattered, but can be caught in 2-20 feet of water using cut shad. Water clarity is 4-18 feet depending on location.

PROCTOR

SLOW. Water stained; 66 degrees; 9.62 feet below pool. Blue catfish are biting best at night in deeper water. Marking fish on ledges and deeper structure from 10-18 feet of water. Shad are hard to find, and the day bite is slow

WEATHERFORD

SLOW. Water stained; 68 degrees; 8.21 feet below pool. Look for fishing to pick up in the shallows when the shad spawn begins. Bass are slow fishing post pawn patterns with chatterbaits, flukes, and wacky worms. Crappie are fair on deeper brush piles in the main lake. Catfish are fair off the rocks near the dam on shad and cut bait. White bass are slow on slabs.

GSLOW. Water stained; 68 degrees; 8.21 feet below pool. Look for fishing to pick up in the shallows when the shad spawn begins. Bass are slow fishing post pawn patterns with chatterbaits, flukes, and wacky worms. Crappie are fair on deeper brush piles in the main lake.
