The Lions faced Early in an April 4 away game which Early claimed 5-4.
Jose Lopez pitched 5.2 stong innings for Dublin, giving up two earned runs.
Chris Teten emerged from the injury list for his first game of the season.
“Teten returned at 3rd where he made multiple plays and went 3-4 at the plate,” said head Lion Baseball Coach Brennan Harris.
Vs. Peaster
The Lions hosted the Peaster Greyhounds April 6 and fell 4-1 to the visitors.
“The team had multiple hits and left 9 runners on base,” Harris said of his players.
Kevin Patton made several defensive plays at second while Fernando Esparza scored the only run for the Lions.
Chris Teten struck out eight over five innings of pitching and Cooper Pickett added 2 more hits.
