Lions fans can pitch in to the program while having fun during the March 18 Dublin Lions Home Run Derby benefitting the Dublin Lion baseball and softball teams.
The swinging competition will be held at the Dublin High School Baseball Field from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is open to the public with registration costing $10. Prizes will be available to the strongest swingers.
Judging will be divided into two age groups, 8 to 14 years old and 14 and over, in boys and girls divisions.
All swings will count; entrants will hit until they reach 10 outs.
